Repelling fixed point

A fixed point $p$ is repelling (or a source) if $\exists ϵ>0:$ all $x\in N_{ϵ}(p)$ except $p$ eventually map outside of $N_{ϵ}(p)$.

In plain English, nearby points move away from $p$ under iteration.
