Mathematics, at least the way that I found to be true for myself, has always been about assigning an understanding to the world in a quasi objetive language. While math are a construct of human imagination, there represent a universal language that, if it came to it, would be a medium in which alternate lifeforms would comprehend ( assuming intelligence, of course ).
Most of my math work is almost entirely self study, where I find interesting papers/videos on concepts, and write about them ( see the math tag ).
Why I Love Math
Like I described in Computational Neuroscience, I love the idea of being able to describe the world through a quasi “universal” standard of language. This is why I love math, and why I love programming. Math is a language that can be used to describe the world, and programming is a language that can be used to describe the world of computation.
I hope to be able to find a way to apply math to the world of neuroscience, and to be able to use math to describe the world of computation. I hope to be able to find a way to apply math to the world of neuroscience, and to be able to use math to describe the world of computation.
