Muhammad (570 - 632 CE) is considered the “last prophet” in Islam.
A perfect human being, the ideal muslim, and the “seal of the prophets” - meaning no more prophets will come after him. Not God, not an angel, not a saint, not a mystic, not a guru.
At age 40, Muhammad began receiving revelations from God (Allah) while meditating, through the angel Gabriel (Jabreel).
